He essentially invented modern warfare, strategy and tactics. He’s the western Sun Tzu. What does he know about sport? Well it turns out more than most. Every armchair pundit reckons they’re only a couple of lucky breaks away from coaching a top flight team. Clausewitz would see sport as a simulacrum for war and he was very good at war.
